Billy
Background: Billy was one of a litter of six puppies that was found abandoned in an old barn last November. He and his siblings were brought to the Back-Roads Dog Rescue by the Miami County (Indiana) Control Officer who knew they were too young to survive the cold nights alone. All five of his siblings have found loving homes, but for some unknown reason Billy has not. He is a very attractive dog, but simply the right people have not come forward to adopt him. Maybe you're the right person to give Billy his forever home?
Gender: Male
Breed: Border Collie mix
Approximate Age: 8 months old (don't believe he'll be much bigger than 35 lbs. and about 18" tall)
Spay/Neuter Status: Yes, Billy is neutered!
Vaccinations: Yes, Billy is up-to-date with all his vaccines and microchipped. He has no special medical needs that we know of.
Housetrained: Yes, Billy is housetrained!
Compatibility with Children: Billy loves people, especially children. And at his size, he'd make a great family dog.
Compatibility with Other Animals: Billy gets along well with all sizes of dogs from big to small. However, we don't know if he would get along with cats or not as he hasn't been very close to any.
Personality: Billy is a loving sweet mild mannered pup that prefers to cuddle up and sit by your side. He also walks well on a leash.
Ideal Home: Billy is just looking for the right person to take him home and give him the love he deserves.

Nalan
Background: Nalan is a happy 12 week old pup. His mom is a beautiful white purebred Siberian Husky, and we believe dad may have been a Bull Terrier (this breed is descended from the English Bull Dog). Nalan was taken into foster when he was only 5 days old, and has been raised in a loving family environment with children (both small and older), dogs and cats. Nalan is an energetic boy and playful boy, but also just loves to curl up on your lap. He is great with other dogs, cats and even small children. He walks well on a leash and already knows "sit"!

Breed: Siberian Husky-Bull Terrier Mix
Approximate Age: 3 months
Spay/Neuter Status: Nalan will be neutered prior to adoption depending on age, or pre-paid neutering and a contract will be required.
Vaccinations: Yes, Nalan is up-to-date with all his vaccines.
Housetrained: Nalan is currently working on crate training and house training, but he's learning fast!
Compatibility with Other Animals: Nalan does great with other dogs and cats. He like to chase the cats, but only to play. There is not an aggressive bone in his little body!
Compatibility with Children: Nalan just loves children, and has been raised in a home with both younger and older children.
Personality: Nalan is a playful, energetic puppy. He also just loves to cuddle on your lap.
Ideal Home: Due to Nalan's to the fact that Nalan is half Siberian Husky, he really needs to have a structural fence around his yard. He would also love a playmate (either 2-legged or 4-legged). But most of all, he just wants a loving home!
